Aftershock is currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the sales teams across our stores within the London area such as South Molton Street, Kings Road and Bayswater.
CONCESSION MANAGER - HOUSE OF FRASER (UK)
We’re currently looking for an experienced individual from a fashion or accessory background to drive the future success of our new and exclusive womenswear concessions across House of Fraser in the UK. The role of the Concession Manager is to maximise sales potential and profitability through the effective management of staff and stock, whilst maintaining the smooth running of the concession and actively adding to the success of the company.
RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER - LONDON
Aftershock is one of the UK’s leading designers, retailers and manufacturers of exquisite ladies wear and accessories. We’re currently looking for an experienced individual from a fashion or accessory background to drive the future success of our own retail stores in London and exclusive womenswear concessions across House of Fraser in the UK. The role of the Retail Operations Manager is to maximise sales potential and profitability through the effective management of staff and stock, whilst maintaining the smooth running of the retail stores and concessions and actively adding to the success of the company.
FINANCE MANAGER - LONDON
As a key member of the commercial finance team, this role provides professional support primarily to the operational and systems functions of the business. Working alongside the operational management team providing input into key decisions for that area of the business. This role has broad and “hands on” responsibilities across a number of fields and needs a talented finance professional to present business analysis and challenge senior members of the management team. This role is Head Office based.
JUNIOR DESIGNER - LONDON
Aftershock is one of the UK’s leading designers, retailers and manufacturers of exquisite ladies wear and accessories. Aftershock is looking for a Junior Designer to take directions from Art Directors, Senior Designers and Designers for given projects executing various elements for the established design. Reporting to the Design manager you must be able to confidently push the brand forward by developing saleable ranges, forecasting trends and sourcing key fabrics and trims for the season. In addition to the creation of design boards, Junior Designers are responsible for preparing assets for the project. Travel will be required and multi-product experience is ideal. There are excellent career prospects within this role.
ACCESSORIES DESIGNER - LONDON
At Aftershock, we are always on the look-out for inspirational, professional and dedicated new employees. We design, develop and source costume jewellery, ladies belts, handbags, scarves and other fashion accessories for our trade, retail and franchise stores and are looking for an experienced accessories designer to fulfill this role.
STOCK CONTROLLER - LONDON
We need a dedicated individual to develop and maintain its acquired concession units across House of Fraser in the UK. Aftershock buyers obtain everything a woman needs for her wardrobe from stunning dresses to contemporary and stylish accessories and shoes. We are looking for a talented individual to develop financial, brand, and strategic category plans our concession stores nationally to maximize sales, profitability, and turnover of product. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years merchandise planning experience and the demonstrated ability to think and react quickly and efficiently in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Salary will depend on experience and performance targets.
MERCHANDISER - LONDON
Aftershock is currently recruiting for a Merchandiser to make sure that goods are available in the right stores, at the right time and at the right price in our London branches. For Aftershock, our retail performance is key to the profitability of the business and plays a crucial role to help drive overall company performance. The successful individual should aim to be resilient and highly results-orientated with a track record of success in delivering key merchandising KPI's such as, sales, margin, markdown and stock turn.
IMPORT MERCHANDISER - LONDON
Aftershock is one of the UK’s leading fashion houses based in London with overseas production in Asia and the Far East. We are currently looking to recruit an Import/Costing Merchandiser who will be expected to handle a high level of merchandising orders and cost all orders. The successful applicant will be responsible for dealing with all factory, supplier and customer approvals and will be responsible for constantly monitoring the status of orders placed with factories.
PRODUCT STYLIST - LONDON
Aftershock Online is looking for a meticulous self-starter who has mastered tabletop photo styling. Collaborating with the buying and creative teams, the stylist will create product photography for a fashion-forward consumer. This mid-level position is an excellent opportunity for someone with talent and vision who is interested in creating and maintaining a uniquely sophisticated look for a growing online fashion retailer.
IMAGE PRODUCTION SPECIALIST (LONDON)
Aftershock Online is looking for an image prep person with digital retouching experience. This mid-level position is a great opportunity for someone who is visually precise, detail oriented, computer savvy, and deadline-driven, looking for a fast-paced, friendly, hip work environment.
WEB INVENTORY PLANNER - LONDON
Based in London, Aftershock needs a dedicated individual to keep a close eye on women’s fashion, making fashion decisions and purchasing and selling the acquired merchandise. Aftershock buyers obtain everything a woman needs for her wardrobe from dresses to denim, and accessories to shoes. Aftershock runs Aftershock Online, the premier online shopping destination for the fashion-savvy female. Featuring the hottest styles from the contemporary and high-end markets, Aftershock has been recognized by consumers and the media as an elite one-stop fashion source. Unique site features include New & Hot, Coming Soon, My Aftershock and bi-monthly e-newsletters. We require a talented individual to develop financial, brand, and strategic category plans for online women’s retailer to maximize sales, profitability, and turnover of product. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years merchandise planning experience and the demonstrated ability to think and react quickly and efficiently in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
GARMENT TECHNOLOGIST - LONDON
Aftershock is looking for a Garment Technologist to effectively translate the vision of it's design team using CAD for communication to Far Eastern factories and also other departments within the company. The individual must propose and successfully implement technical developments, identify new key shapes for the season and develop blocks for garment production. Furthermore, you will need to assess the functionality of each garment by conducting and recording regular fit sessions. The role is based in Central London.
PERSONAL ASSISTANT (PA) - LONDON
A new opportunity has arisen working for one of the Director’s of Aftershock, London - a dynamic fashion company that operates at the luxury end of fashion and accessories. The candidate must have experience in business development, marketing and is expected to have their own laptop and mobile.
EXPORT COORDINATOR - LONDON
We’re looking to recruit a pro-active customer export coordinator. The successful candidate should be able to deal with customer requirements from initial enquiry to completion of sale in order to both meet the objectives of the organisation and ensure that customers are delighted by the service that they have received.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER - LONDON
Aftershock is looking for a part-time or freelance graphics designer to develop in-store retail graphics with the marketing team and update Aftershock Online's graphics and it's affiliates.
