Aftershock's Catwalk Success
Aftershock London recently held a stunning 18 piece Catwalk Show at the Palau Naçional in Barcelona, Spain on 7th May 2009 in front of major retailers and fashion groups from all over the world. The aim of the Catwalk Show was to not only showcase the latest SS'09 Collection but also introduce the brand to other international fashion groups who wish to apply for an Aftershock franchise to help the company maintain the momentum in it's global expansion.
The Collection was a mix of bright and eccentric silk chiffon prints for the first 9 pieces. This was balanced out with beautiful hand embroidered styles from it's upcoming Autumn/Winter '09 Collection. Those who managed to get a glimpse of the styles for the forthcoming season immediately fell in love with the brand's freshness and stylish appeal. Many of the attendees commented on how different the clothing and accessories were to anything they've seen in the past and that the show will further encourage them to spread the word about fashion's best kept secret!
The Catwalk was supported with a live electric string quartet called Siren who helped to create a dramatic atmosphere to complement the fashion show. Siren have supported numerous artists, including pop sensation Gnarls Barkley. Siren were dressed head to toe in one of Aftershock's signature pieces, The Masa Mini Dress.
