Doesn't fit? Colour clash? Just not quite what you thought it would be?
Not a problem!
Customer satisfaction is always our top priority, and as such we handle each query on an individual basis to the best of our ability. While we hope that you are delighted with your order, if you are not perfectly satisfied with your goods we will happily offer you an exchange or refund subject to our returns policy.
A Return Authorisation (RA) number must be requested from Aftershock within 7 days of delivery. RA numbers can be obtained by emailing us at returns@aftershockplc.com. Once you have received your RA number, please take care to follow the instructions e-mailed to you and detailed below. Please note that unidentified returns/exchanges may be returned to the sender
We request that all goods being returned from within the UK are returned within 7 days of issuing your RA number.
International returns should be shipped within 7 days of issuing your RA number.
Returns and exchanges are accepted on merchandise within 14 days of receipt for items that HAVE NOT BEEN ALTERED OR WASHED, and with ALL TAGS ATTACHED. Footwear returns and exchanges must include the original shoe box in its original condition and without postal labels. Damages to or omission of this box from your return/exchange may result in a fee.
When trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume/deodorant that may leave a scent or marks on the item. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed.
Returns received outside the above time frames are accepted at the discretion of Aftershock and can only be exchanged (i.e. from 14-28 days). All items returned thereafter cannot be refunded or exchanged.
We strongly advise all customers to check their purchase thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.
In the event of any failure to return any goods to us within the stipulated time limits, even though validly cancelled, we shall have the right to charge any costs of recovery of the goods.
Please note;
- We strictly do not take returns for multiple purchases unless the items are genuinely faulty or damaged. Answers such as "Not Suitable" for the purchase of multiple items on the Returns Form will not be processed unless a detailed reason for return is specified
- Shipping on returned merchandise is non-refundable nor are any taxes and duties incurred on international orders
- We will only refund the card from which the original payment was made
- We do not refund any delivery charges. We will only refund your postage costs if you are returning an item that is either faulty or if we have mistakenly sent you the incorrect item
- Items designated as "SALE" can be exchanged for items of the same or higher value. Items designated as "SALE" can only be refunded if an email is sent to enquiries@aftershockplc.com with the intention to return within 7 days of delivery
- If you decide to call the customer helpline to request an RA number and not email enquiries@aftershockplc.com, it is then solely your responsibility that the item is returned within the returns period to request an exchange or refund for your purchase. This is because the customer helpline is not recorded and it is your responsibility to let the customer services know of your intentions via email
The Return of Goods Procedure
How to proceed if you would like to return/exchange your goods from the UK
- In order to facilitate the return/exchange of your item(s) you must obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) number by emailing us at returns@aftershockplc.com or calling us on +44 (0)20 8965 3898 within 7 days of receiving your order. You will need to quote your order number and may receive multiple RA numbers if returning more than one item
- All items must be attached with the security tag intact, not be worn and in their original condition. Items designated as "SPECIAL OFFER" or "SALE" can be refunded if an email is sent to enquiries@aftershockplc.com with the intention to return within 7 days of delivery. We do not offer returns/exchanges on earrings, jewellery or rings for health and safety reasons unless items are deemed faulty or damaged
- Please complete the Returns Form, stating the Return Authorisation (RA) number under "Item(s) for Return/Exchange." and enclose with the item(s) to be returned/exchanged. Enclose this document in the package you wish to return. If this document is not enclosed we regret that we cannot process your return or exchange. If you have lost or cannot find this document you can download and print it from the link entitled "Return Form" at the bottom of the page
- Please place items in the original packaging and ensure the outer box is completely sealed
- All returns/exchanges for any particular order needs to be returned in one shipment with clear labelling of the return address:

- We recommend that returns/exchanges are shipped through Royal Mail Next Day Delivery. Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods if you do not return them to us via the recommended methods stated above. You should take your item for return to a Post Office for return within 7 days of receiving the RA number. Failure to obtain an RA Number or to return the goods using the delivery methods stated above does not affect your statutory rights
- Please note that we do not take responsibility for packages lost in transit during this period and the sender must return the item at his or her own risk
- All successfully returned items will be only credited to the account used to originally purchase the items, less any taxes or import duties incurred. We are also unable to refund any shipping charges

UK - We advise all our customers to use a reliable and fast courier service to ensure items are delivered to ensure you receive your refund or exchange. It is also advisable for you to e-mail us and quote your tracking number. Aftershock does not accept responsibility for returns sent using any other method. The return must be shipped within 7 days of receiving an RA number

How to proceed if you wish to return faulty goods
- In order to facilitate the return of faulty items you must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number by emailing us at returns@aftershockplc.com and follow the standard returns process as detailed above
- Faulty items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged or there is a subsequent manufacturing fault within a period of 3 months after delivery. All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any damage deemed to subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty
- Where possible, items may be replaced at no extra cost on request but only where such items are deemed faulty, damaged and not repairable
Receiving a refund
Refunds to you will be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's credit card including sales taxes for all EU country shipments excluding shipping charges. As previously stated, international customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU). Please ensure that the Return Form is completed and enclosed, otherwise your refund will not be processed.
Gift returns
If you have received an item from Aftershock as a gift you can return it for an exchange or a credit note within the parameters outlined in this Returns Policy. Please email us at enquiries@aftershockplc.com or call us on +44 (0)20 8965 3898 to arrange this.
Exchange:
You will be charged for any difference in cost and any additional shipping, taxes and import duties.
Credit notes:
Once issued, credit notes are valid for up to 6 months.
Returns Policy for items on Sale
Items designated as "SALE" can be exchanged for items of the same or higher value. Items designated as "SALE" can only be refunded if an email is sent to enquiries@aftershockplc.com with the intention to return within 7 days of delivery.
Please note* we do not offer returns/exchanges on pierced jewellery for health and safety reasons unless items are deemed faulty or damaged.

If a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted to allow for the revised order value and appropriate discount level.
