Poppy Montgomery seems to be embracing her new redhead look, after recently being spotted in matching designer shoes.

The actress, who has recently finished filming the lead role in a biopic of Harry Potter author J K Rowling, was photographed by the Daily Mail wearing a stunning white mini dress and chic red suede heels.

Her colourful shoes matched her newly dyed red locks and the Australian actress' sun-kissed skin and made a welcome change from her usual blonde hair.

Poppy was spotted heading to The Early Show in New York to promote the film Magic Beyond Words: The JK Rowling Story.

Since filming finished she has quickly shed her dowdy image and has since dyed her hair to match the role of Detective Carrie Wells in CBS series Unforgettable and is back to showing her tattoo, which was kept covered while playing the author.
