Victoria Beckham blows Vogue cover

Victoria Beckham has blown any chance of appearing on the cover of the influential US Vogue by agreeing to be shot for rival magazine Elle, the Daily Mail reports. "Victoria hoped to land the Vogue cover but it fell through weeks ago," a fashion insider claimed. "She decided to pose for Elle instead and now Vogue won't consider her for at least four months." Recently it was claimed that Vogue editor Anna Wintour would only give Victoria - who's had covers of UK and Russian Vogue - a cover if she had a breast reduction. "Anna said she would consider putting Victoria on the cover, but told her to lose those ridiculous implants before it happened," an insider said in June.

Katie Moves In With New Man

 Not one to hang around, Katie Price has reportedly found love again in the form of cage fighter/actor Alex Reid. Just three months after Katie announced her split from Peter Andre, a friend of Reid said, “Alex completes Katie, he is the yin to her yang. The moment they met it was obvious they were made for one another.” We hate to think what that says about Alex then. Sources have told the Sunday Mirror that the couple are already living together. “Other people in the house don’t know what to do with themselves – it’s so awkward having him there all the time,” an insider explained. “Junior talks to him and said, ‘Why are you in mummy’s bed?’ He seems confused.”

News has also emerged that Peter Andre decided to end his marriage to Katie after hearing that his wife drunkenly propositioned Duncan James. A drunk Price reportedly offered to perform a sex act on Blue star Duncan James in a London nightclub toilet, the Daily Mirror claims. A spokesperson for Katie has denied the incident ever took place. “Katie was hammered and determined to let her hair down. She was in the VIP section drinking heavily when she bumped into Duncan. She virtually launched herself at him, grinding up and down against him, and grabbing his crotch,” a source claims. “She made some comment about not getting enough sex and basically suggested she took him into the toilets for a sexual treat he’d never forget. Next day Katie was desperate to bury her actions and was adamant that Pete must never find out. But eventually word got back and not surprisingly he felt humiliated and appalled. It broke him in two. It was definitely a huge factor in their break up – and one reason why he’ll never go back to her.” 

Rihanna and Chris Brown plan holiday to Acapulco

Chris Brown is planning a holiday with ex-girlfriend Rihanna despite last month being order to stay 100 yards away from her, Star magazine reports. Brown was sentenced to five year’s probation, sent to domestic violence counselling and instructed stay 100 yards away from his ex after he admitted assaulting Rihanna in February. However, insiders say Brown and Rihanna plan to fly to Mexico together as the court’s ruling cannot be enforced outside the US. ??“They spoke to their lawyers to see what was allowed, and are now planning two weeks in Mexico,” a source claims. “They want to spend some quality time together and know they have a lot to reconcile before they can make their relationship public again. Rihanna’s desperate not to let her fans down as she’s had such support from them. She and Chris both need to have a long, hard think about a strategy that won’t hurt their careers. What happened was a shock to both of them and completely out of character for Chris. There was nothing they could do but split up. But they’ve kept in touch and met up in secret as they missed each other. They’ve never, ever stopped loving each other. To say Chris is completely disgusted with himself is an understatement. Now he’s been given a second chance he’s determined to make up for it.”

Zooey Deschanel may have a surname that sounds a bit like a big fashion brand, but in reality her style is anything but trend-orientated. Instead of slavishly following others, the Hollywood starlet, who stars in the upcoming romantic comedy (500) Days Of Summer, has a look that is very much her own.

In her latest film (500) Days Of Summer, Zooey Deschanel plays a woman who doesn't believe true love exists, opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt (10 Things I Hate About You), whose character falls in love with her.

Despite hailing from California 29-year-old, Zooey Deschanel's offbeat style has a more East Coast sensibility: dark bangs, thick hosiery, and kooky little dresses. (It is often commented that she is a dead ringer for pop star Katy Perry, but happily Deschanel's fashion sense is miles away from Perry's outré aesthetic.)

As well as being an actress (credits include Almost Famous (2000), Elf and Liar Liar) Zooey also dabbles in music as a singer-songrwriter and since 2001 has performed with a jazz cabaret band, If All The Stars Were Pretty Babies. Her fiancé is also on the music scene: Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard (she has previously been linked to actor Jason Schwartzman and Maroon Five's Mickey Madden).
